La Hacienda is a restored stone farmhouse in grounds of ten acres within the protected environment of the Sierra de Gredos Regional Park. The little mountain village of Guisando, with its narrows streets and ancient houses, is about one and a half miles away.

La Hacienda is set in a landscape of great natural beauty, with a backdrop of pine forests and the granite peaks of the Gredos mountains. The views from the house are sensational. To the south east the view extends for over fifty miles across the valleys of the rivers Tietar and Tagus towards the Montes de Toledo.

There are many different types of fruit trees, and there is also a small vegetable garden. Guests may pick and enjoy the seasonal fruits produced on the farm. We also have chickens, and a small flock of sheep to graze the land. Juan, our manager, will bring you fresh eggs, and is happy to take children to see the animals.

The house sleeps a maximum of twelve adults. A child´s bed and a cot are also available. Outside, there is a walled garden, a covered barbecue area with seating for twelve, a large swimming pool, table tennis, a golf practice net and garden badminton.

It is a wonderful location for family holidays, or for those who simply want to enjoy the peace and tranquility of this little known part of Spain.

The layout of the house also makes it an ideal venue for group special interest holidays, such as bird-watching, walking, yoga or painting.
